PONGAL O SANKRANTHI ,THE HARVEST FESTIVAL

Saturday, 12th of January 2007, at 7 pm
at calle Caspe, 108, 9º piso,, Barcelona.

Pongal is a festival of Harvest. During the 14th, 15th and 16th of January people normally celebrate the festival of Agriculture and worship the Sun God. Families make beautiful Mandalas in front of the houses and decorate their homes and agricultural land, and their cows and oxen are decked with special jewelry. One and all pray to the Sun God and welcome spring.

INVOCATION FOR PEACE, DIDIMAA

Let us pray for love and peace in the world and let this planet be a safe place to live. We will have a Prayer, a Puja and Meditation. We will make this day special. The relationship between Orient and Occident is real and is a relationship of the soul, and when I travel to my country I will be able to transmit these feelings to those who need it.
